IT TAKES A TEAM TO BUILD A PLAYER
Much like it takes a village to raise a child, Igloo believes in a group approach to developing players. Everyone surrounding the player plus the player themselves are a part of support group that allows the player to develop at a faster rate. When the parents, the player, the club, the teammates, and the coaches are all working together you will see the best overall development in your child.
OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM
IGLOO is a national program which began in 2010, and often parents get confused with what it means to be national. The club competes on the national level meaning our teams play and compete in tournaments that draw teams from all over the country. Igloo is nationally ranked and extremely competitive; yet our focus is on player development and training. Many clubs will go to a lot of tournaments, where as IGLOO will go to 5 to 6 over the course of the year, so it allows our coaches the ability to training and instruct in between our tournaments so that we are constantly getting better. Our long Island Players come mostly from the North shore of Long Island. Towns range from Manhasset all the way to Smithtown.
